What we believe:

The Bible

The OpenDoor Gospel Ministries believes in The Bible consisting of 66 books between Old and New Testaments. Old testament from Genesis to Malachi (39 books) and New Testament from Matthew to Revelation (27 books). We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and the final authority for all Christian faith and life (2 Timothy 3:15-16)

The One True God

We believe that there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is all fullness of the Godhead invisible, The Son is all fullness of the Godhead manifested,(John 1:14 -18). The Holy Spirit is all fullness of the Godhead acting immediately upon the creature,(1 Cor. 2:9-10).Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, is True God and true man conceived of the Holy Spirit. We belieive Jesus Christ was crucified, dead and buried, who rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where he sits at the right hand of the of the Father as the intercessor.

Water Baptism

We believe the ordinance of baptism which signifies the believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection and is practiced by immersion and should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have really repented of their sins and in their hearts have truly believed in Christ as Savior and Lord.(Mathew 3:16;Matthew 28:19)

Spiritual Gifts

We believe that spiritual growth and maturity in the Christian life, should be the only goal of every believer and received as gifts from the Holy Spirit and has both the right and responsibility to exercise these gifts under the direction of the Holy Spirit.(1 Peter 2:5; John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11).We value individual believers and their personal commitment to Christ, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, discipleship, Christian family life, and fulfillment of the will of God.

The Lord's Supper

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing of the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. Every member of the church or the Body of Christ is urged to partake of this supper. This is a memorial of His suffering, death and a prophecy of His second coming (1Cor. 11:23-26).

Resurrection and Eternal Life

We believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ; First, to resurrect the dead saints and to change both living saints and resurrected saints and take them away to be with Him in Glory; ready to inherit eternal life. 1 Thess. 4:16,17; Second, to reign on earth a thousand years; (Revelation 20:2-6).
